"We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Easter bunnies

I can't believe this is my first post for the year! How slack of me! My excuse is that we have been a little bit busy with packing up our home, searching for another one, moving in with my mum and dad, painting our new house, moving in, unpacking not to mention 2 kids' birthdays, 1 kid starting kindergarten and settling the other kid into a brand new school. Yep... we've been pretty busy!

It's nearly Easter! I love this time of year- the weather is perfect and we are all on holidays. Easter has significant meaning for our family as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This brings our family much joy and hope and we love to get together with family to celebrate.

We also have fun with the silly side of Easter- you know- the eggs and bunnies and gifts.

This Easter, I have made 'sock bunnies' for each of my own kids + all my nieces and nephews + the 3 kids next door + one for my sewing room. That's right 13 bunnies altogether! Crazy I know! I found the pattern here and they were super easy to make. I love all the colours.

Happy Easter everyone! May you celebrate the joy that is only possible because of Jesus!

  1. Oooo, cute bunnies...and I love how you have used the glass jars in your sewing room. Amazing how everything looks so much more inspiring through glass. Happy Easter.
