"We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

More handmade gifts

Well I'm finally on holidays again (yay!!!) and straight into the sewing!

Firstly I made this hat for my niece, Eva who turned 6 yesterday. This is the second one of these I've made and I still love it just as much. The last one I made can be found HERE. There is something very satisfying about this pattern. I started this at about 7:30 last night after the kids had gone to bed and was finished by 10:30. Not bad for a night's work! I hope she loves it.

Happy Birthday sweet, red-loving Eva!
Next, I finished these dresses to sell at Sew Beautiful

I love the insects on this corduroy!

Finally, I started with this:

And finished with this:

I loosely followed the tutorial found HERE to make this fabric covered journal/ scrapbook which I will give to a special friend for her birthday in a couple of weeks.

That's all for now.
