"We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Long sleeve dress

Here is the long sleeve version of my simple, stretchy dress.

This one is made with jersey fabric which is easy to sew with no need to overlock seems. However, I find it is a lot less flattering to wear than the cotton sateen fabric. Darn those chocolate Easter eggs!! Time to get back into the running I think.

As my holidays come to an end all too quickly and I sink back into the business of early mornings, school lunches, uniforms and meetings, I am feeling so, so grateful for the time I have spent with these 3 kiddos. How lucky am I that I get to continue being in the same place as my kids even when I go to work? Pretty special I reckon.

We have had fun bushwalking, gardening (future post on this one!), going to the movies, visiting parks, having friends over and generally enjoying the beautiful weather. Plenty of memories to get us through to the next lot of holidays. 9 weeks and counting!

Thanks for stopping by.
